Ok fellow Bitcoiners I have a question: My wife is not as tech savvy or into the whole self custody thing as I am. I need a multisig setup with clean, easy to use and secure system. I am currently using 2/3 with Nunchuk. It's easier than setting up your own for sure but I still worry about potential complications if am not there. What are people's thoughts on Bitkey? Is it safe? I read their white paper but not sure I can account for all possible threat models and potential loss of keys, company seizure, change of operations to become more hostile etc. Are those real risks? #asknostr

Trump and Elon Fanboys are doing backward flips on Tariffs. I have seen econ 101 rewritten by previous BlockFi shills. Tariffs are never a net good for society. They will most certainly push up prices in the short term and there is no guarantee that all their product will be manufactured in the US. Even if those products are manufactured here, there will high import costs, domestic production is more expensive and likely will have the end product 10-15% more expensive. Who does this benefit? Also, this is assuming that manufacturing will reshore soon. This process itself could take decades not years.

The arrest of individuals protesting against Israel is a grave act of Presidential overreach and a desire to clamp down on free association and speech. I know some of you loved Trump but it's not just about being pro-Crypto. It's not just about talking about "free speech" there is no difference between this and what the Dems were doing with DEI for the last 20 years. Choose liberty and call the bullshit on both sides.

I honestly can't keep up with how rapidly the Nostr ecosystem is growing. It's fucking mind-blowing. Wow. I was 10 -12 years old and lived in a developing country when the Internet was taking off in the 90s. I never understood what it meant until decades later. with Nostr and Bitcoin, I can now see and imagine that time so much better. Freedom Tech!

I mean as much as I despise that Ripple has tried to unseat Bitcoin and is actively lobbying against it, I almost don't give a fuck. America will ultimately do the right thing. Bitcoin will be fine. I don't want the US govt involved. I want plebs and retails to fucking buy every Sat there is.

This is my cousin - he lives in a developed country, has a Masters from a top university, studied History, is not dumb by any stretch. Yet, he falls in to the trap of "fixed pie" thesis and also just not ready to accept that Bitcoin IS actually fair and it started at issuance. Moments like these are frustrating, cause people like him understand that something is very wrong (politically and inflation) but decided to put his weight behind a political change rather than opting out.

Does anyone else find it very challenging to convince some very well educated normies to understand Nostr or Bitcoin? Its pretty frustrating. My home country, that I don't live in anymore, suffers from extreme inflation and mismanagement of Finances. To add to that, the Military has a stronghold and does not like dissidents. They have cracked down on VPN usage and have created a category of Govt approved VPNs which citizens can use to access X. Realizing how maddening that is, I explained to a journlist that there are ways around this: learn Nostr, create a smaller community so at least information can't be blocked. Also, since you're a journalist, publish your content on Nostr and you may even get some Zaps. 2 months later. No movement.. nothing. Zilch. Every time I speak about this it's like they are deaf to it. Frustrating and a little demotivating. How much does the BTC price need to move for them to realize that they have a WAY to save themselves!!!

A question for @less or @Lyn Alden M2 has historically been a good predictor of inflation, or debasement. Does it always have to be that way though? What if the money/currency equivalents never enter the economy and say, stay on bank balance sheets?
