My Grandma used to always say to me "the best place to keep your money is in your mattress" - She said it in a way like she really meant it. She really didn't trust leaving your money with anybody else to mind it for you. I wish she was still alive so I could fill her in about #bitcoin. I think she would love it!

Do you remember the first person who orange-pilled you? For me, it was @Erik Cason The mixture of hope and empowerment in his writing is amazing. Erik portrays Bitcoin not just as technology but as a kind of saviour in our complex, often troubled world. It was this vision that sparked a deep resonance within me and began my Bitcoin journey. Recently, My friend Callum, like me - new to this whole Bitcoin scene, was at a conference in Madeira trying to snag a signed book from Erik for me. He missed the signing and was a little nervous about catching him later—didn't even know if it was cool to just approach him. But when he finally did, Erik didn’t just respond; he welcomed him with a massive, no-questions-asked hug. No awkwardness, just instant brotherhood. That moment? It was a real welcome into the Bitcoin family for Callum. Kind of a symbolic reception for a newbie who was welcomed with open arms. I like this metaphor. Big thanks to Erik for the warmth and the signed book. Thanks to Callum for chasing down that moment. And yeah, receiving the book today - The perfect halving day present!! - Thanks Erik, Thanks Callum and Thanks #Bitcoin for the Hope and the Power!

I discovered a cool, fun finding relating to the number 216 within #Bitcoin! This intriguing number appears in surprising ways, showing that its essence transcends different scales and contexts. 1. The Difficulty Adjustment of Bitcoin:: every 2016 blocks, the network adjusts its difficulty to maintain consistent mining times. 2. Maximum Total Number of #Bitcoin Addresses, each Bitcoin address springs from the vast potential of 2 to the power of 160 (2^160) possible combinations, thanks to cryptographic hashing. But let's strip away the complexity and consider geometry for a moment. 3. Total Number of Degrees on a Cube:: Imagine a cube, each face totaling 360 degrees (90 degree corners x 4), multiplying to 2160 degrees for all 6 faces combined. Strip off the zeroes, and there's 216 again, echoing through the structural and theoretical foundations of Bitcoin's blockchain—blocks within blocks, both digital and dimensional. This pattern might be just a playful coincidence, yet it invites me to ponder if there might be a deeper geometric symmetry within #Bitcoin, more apparent than it seems at first glance. (*note: I am referring to the qualitative aspect of the number 216 here. I've taken a geometric poetic license allowing the addition or deletion of any amount of zeros or decimal points which does not change the qualitative aspects of the number 216)

“The transition from the belief that we are a person with the faculty of awareness to the understanding that we are awareness itself may seem like a small step, but it has enormous implications for any individual and for the evolution of humanity as a whole” Rupert Spira #awareness #consciousness
