I found this conversation really interesting. It is very refreshing to hear two people disagree gracefully with each other.
It made me ponder upon 2 things
1. Saylor is positioning himself to be a sound money banker. That is what his long play is. "What is wrong with a loan?"
2. Ammous seems to trigger Saylor in a way I haven't seen before
It's a great watch.
btw I respect both of these gentlemen greatly

I’m completely mind-blown by Laurie Anderson’s Oh Superman—written in 1981, it feels eerily prophetic, especially for today’s surveillance state. The line ‘You don’t know me, but I know you’ almost reads like an anthem for today’s crowd sourced panopticon. The sequence from love to justice, force, and finally ‘mom’ feels like a chilling progression toward the nanny state, with her long electric arms wrapping us up under their control. It’s incredible how this song speaks so deeply to our present world of technology, surveillance, and power. It’s tripping me out all weekend!! Just discovered she was married to Lou Reed too!

If you think technology is going to solve your problems; you don’t understand technology and you don’t understand your problems

The Medium is the Message: McLuhan’s Insight
Marshall McLuhan’s aphorism, “the medium is the message,” posits that the characteristics of a medium influence how messages are perceived, irrespective of the content. The medium itself shapes and controls the scale and form of human association and action.
