The tool of your "stillness" served both it's primary and secondary purpose: Preservation. Preparation.

Saying the word "RETARDED" in a public forum shouldn't be judged so harshly. It's true definition has always been a handy tool for me. A time tested and true description for every time I have ever used it. I'm not going to tip toe around someones opinion of the word. In fact, if you ever listen to me talk and I notice you visably wince at my language then I know I have hit the mark with my audience. Some might claim that the audience stops listening at the point at which crude swears or slurs are used, but I disagree. I would argue that the listener is definitely listening to what comes next! Therefore, post cursing, I am aware enough to wrap up my point and yield the floor to them. Either way, most people will show authentic proof of their character in their response to my harsh tongue and the opportunity to correct me is usually far too tempting for them to resist... Most don't care art all, and some care a little but not enough to voice their opinion of hearing any harsh words used. Some care enough to get judgemental but don't voice it. Some people start foaming at the mouth and get confrontational the second the word "Retarded" or "Gay" is heard (in the context of being lame, inconvenient or resulting in an a-typical situation of which is considered to be less than desirable in general.) Just like every other nasty word I use, they all have their own special use case. I won't apologize for anyone's sensitivity to the real world experience. There are much bigger things happening in this world, and I don't have the time to be censored or pre editing my language because it disturbs your so called inner peace and violates your morals.
