If there is indeed an "order of operations" as @MartyBent often says, then it would seem to make sense for all spending wallets to ask users to choose their (current) Unit of Account as part of the onboarding flow.
Sure, sats can be one of the choices for the hardcore bitcoiners that already denominate their lives in BTC. But for MASS adoption, don't make users think in a new currency. At least not yet.

Who's working on GMHFNs?
I want to fund Genetically Modified Human Finger Nails. Tired of cutting them.

I spent 4 entire days of the year with @MartyBent in my ear. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours! 🫡

Who wants to be a billionaire?
AI-CPA: trained on the tax code, connects to all your financial accounts (Stripe?) and optimizes your spending and makes intelligent suggestions to reduce tax burden. Charges a percentage based on how much it saves you. Files taxes too.
WHERE DOES THE YIELD COME FROM?!?
Google Photos is now doing AI facial recognition on dog butts.
Not sure if I should be scared or relieved.

It's been about a year since I was back in America, and I'm happy to report American innovation is still alive and well. They have discovered how enable wavy perforated tearing on cylindrical wrapped paper products. Game changer.
The rest of you heathens outside the US will never experience this joy.
