The Bugatti EB110, introduced in 1991, was a high-performance supercar marking Bugatti’s return to the automotive world after decades of dormancy. Powered by a 3.5-liter quad-turbocharged V12 engine, it produced 553 horsepower in the standard GT version and 603 horsepower in the later SS (Super Sport) variant. The EB110 featured advanced engineering for its time, including an all-wheel-drive system, a carbon fiber chassis, and a six-speed manual transmission. It could accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in about 3.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 216 mph. Despite its technological achievements, the EB110’s production was limited, and financial difficulties led to Bugatti’s bankruptcy in 1995.
