The VR googles are going to be Apple’s worst hardware release for a very long time — unless they delay it. I’m sure it’ll have some extremely cool aspects, but it will ship with Siri (no way they have a good LLM yet IMO) and ChatGPT is advancing so quickly that Apple’s device will seem incredibly dumb in comparison. The price is going to be way more than the first iPhone, or the Watch, so you can’t argue that their 1st gen devices are always like this. *Nobody* is going to buy it if it is powered by Siri instead of a powerful LLM. I could even imagine the launch event producing laughter and derision instead of the usual excitement and plaudits. https://archive.is/gFj6B
