Ok veggie garden and compost gurus, I think I made compost tea!? I washed out my compost tumbler and caught the dirty water. I am guessing this is what is referred to as compost tea? So what is the best way to use it? As is or diluted? If diluted, what ratio for a 5 litre (1.25 gal) watering can? I have about 8 litres or 2 gallons. TY 😁#compost #veggiegarden

So today the penny dropped about soil quality as I learn to grow vegetables. The little tiny basil sprout on the right was planted 3 weeks before the large ones on the left. The difference is soil from my garden (little one the right) vs organic potting mix. 🧐

Bruce the rescue pumpkin UPDATE No.6. So exciting!! 🤗 Have I got news for you! Firstly, Bruce has unfolded leaves 5&6! He has taken off, so good to see. But the special news today is… Bruce has a girlfriend! YES, and her name is Buttercup (the butternut). Bruce’s bed was so big and he looked lonely, so I searched far and wide for a special partner. Unlike the rough, riffraff rescue nature of Bruce, Buttercup comes from a small wonderfully refined family. Her organic origin is her strength. She is still very young and tender but I am dedicating my energy and loving pumpkin vibes to help her and Bruce enjoy a fantastically productive experience. #pumpkin
