I have been feeling a bit subdued the last few of days. I can’t quite put my finger on it though. Just a combination of very small things I’m guessing, things that by themselves are trivial. I have woken to a beautiful blue sky and I have a full day of tasks to get through so I will put my A into G and get moving. But before that, I will sip my coffee slowly and count my blessings. Don’t underestimate the power of gravy.

Ok veggie garden and compost gurus, I think I made compost tea!? I washed out my compost tumbler and caught the dirty water. I am guessing this is what is referred to as compost tea? So what is the best way to use it? As is or diluted? If diluted, what ratio for a 5 litre (1.25 gal) watering can? I have about 8 litres or 2 gallons. TY 😁#compost #veggiegarden

So today the penny dropped about soil quality as I learn to grow vegetables. The little tiny basil sprout on the right was planted 3 weeks before the large ones on the left. The difference is soil from my garden (little one the right) vs organic potting mix. 🧐
