20.1.2026 Title: Trump's Decade of WAR on Democracy and Truth (ft. Heather Cox Richardson) Channel: Raging Moderates Description (partial): "Jessica Tarlov sits down with historian and Letters from an American writer Heather Cox Richardson to take stock of Trump's first year back in office - how history may remember it, what it means to have a president with so few constraints, his open assault on truth and democratic norms, and whether the U.S. is sliding toward an imperial presidency. Then, they turn to Trump's unlikely transformation from anti-globalist firebrand to guest of honor in Davos - and what that shift says about today's global order and the possible unraveling of the post-World War Il diplomatic system. And finally, they unpack the sudden wave of 2016 nostalgia online: why people are longing for that moment, and what we're really missing when we call it 'the last normal year'"

this is misandry. and if this author watched heated rivalry like i did yesterday they would know one of the main characters is called boring by his russian lover the entire season. seen on x: "A man who hates himself correctly is basically a weapon. the self-love guys are at the gym for 45 minutes the self-hate guys are there until the lights turn off and nobody told them to leave they just forgot they could. channeled self-destruction built every cathedral. you think michaelangelo was healthy. you think these people were getting eight hours. give me the guy who cant sleep because something is wrong with him and he doesnt know what. he will find out by building. or he will die. either way he is not boring" - @ lichthauch

super chilly here so i made soup for breakfast spicey sunshine soup really bright, aromatic, light, and hot!! good for banishing winter blues. if i had mushrooms i woulda used em but i didnt have em. comes together really fast for soup if the broth part is readymade (i used kettle & fire's lemongrass ginger beef bone broth) ok so order of operations: cut up one big yellow onion saute that onion in some olive oil as it is cooking, slice up shallots and add them let that be for a little bit squeeze in the juice of half a lemon and some salt add the broth as that is coming up to temperature, grate garlic cloves and ginger into it separately chop up fresh tarragon, parsley, cilantro, mince the garlic cloves you cant grate anymore cos it doesnt spark joy cos your arm is tired, same with some ginger sliced super thin and w/o the skin (i grate ginger w/ the skin on, it's fine) squeeze some lemon juice and a little bit of salt and just immensely enjoy that on the cutting board like minced all up and stuff, this is a really stellar combo of smells so you have to enjoy that, it is part of the soup making the broth should be about boiling by now, add two ramen noodle packets (discard flavor packages) in about a minute turn off the heat entirely, stir in a whole bag of spinach, add the mixture on the cutting board, a heaping teaspoon of chili crisp, some squirts of a ginger soy dumpling sauce, put some in a bowl, get some scallions on there, enjoy so very much! image
