It's interesting what happens to my thoughts when I blow up my goals to be way, way, way bigger than usual. Then my thinking adjusts to, "Well, what do I need to change to make that goal happen?" And even though it's work, it's not really that much more. Mostly a different way of thinking. And that's really interesting to me.

Entrepreneurship requires you to be a fast learner, including from mistakes. Government/employee work usually incentivizes you to avoid making mistakes. Learning from mistakes makes you faster and more effective. Not learning from mistakes makes you slower and less effective. Who do you want to be?

One of the ways people who aren't rich view people who are rich is that it's a predetermined state. Instead of what it is, which is a series of choices that lead to a rich outcome. It's sad to me that certain people don't see that connection.

When you center yourself in the One who created you, you become the most genuinely yourself.

Habits do not create who you are. Habits sharpen or dull who you've always been. The question is, do your habits align with or violate the unchanging reality of what you are?

I was taken aback when the government told my wife and I that we were amazing parents, and then gave our son back to us. I have slightly restored faith in the government. We praise you and thank you and glorify you Jesus for bringing our son back to us.

I saw an Amber Alert. The child was kidnapped by his parents. I went, "Oh, it's his parents." And went on with my day.

Looking at the political right, I think they are more interested in having things to complain about than actually improving anything.

One of the greatest levels of intelligence is making the distinction between what works and doesn't work. It requires loving reality as it is.
