Ben is doing better this morning. He is taking his pain medicine. He’s got some more sensation in his thumb but it’s not totally back. He did have a pinched nerve. Have a call in to the Dr for dressing change date. Have lots of little things to check off my list. Insurance to register the kids for next year. Can’t log into something I’ve been logging into for that. Meijer trip with Abby. Had a $10 off coupon so I purchased a shamrock ivy and drinking straws. I know. Dr. Telehowski said he didn't need this out. Like good to go. This Dr said the plate shifted up. Ben did grow fast idk. But, gotta do this again but the company is going to have to provide the tools to get it out. Plus I want the serial numbers etc and copies of X-rays and stuff. He can use his wrist as tolerable. We just have to keep the open wounds covered and clean We are home. His pain medicine wasn’t ready so I have to go back to Walmart and get it. He’s hurting pretty bad.

Try to do this short and sweet. The plate is discontinued and some out of the 11 screws are stripped and dislocated. We have to come back again in 1-2 weeks after he get with the rep to get the system to get the plate out. He's going to feel better but have some open wounds. He can use his wrist we just have to keep the wounds clean. He's going to get the right system to get the screws out. It has to come out. #themedicalalgorithim it’s a mess. He’s in post op and probably next week we will do this again.

He’s still in OR holding. Surgery was scheduled for 9:30. Unless they forgot to update the screen. They give us a pt number and they have the color coded guides.

GM. Rain and storms coming this evening. Tomorrow morning as well. It says to arrive by 7:30 for Ben’s surgery. Today we will get more info based on surgery schedule. The Dr whom did the initial surgery said he didn’t need this hardware out. Well, he grew and now it’s an issue. This current Dr said he didn’t think the previous surgeon did anything wrong. Well, Dr.T is connected to Ortho Michigan and that’s my first misdiagnosis in a huge f-up. All in 2019. Rough year that year. So, the plate shifted and has caused Ben’s muscles to be calcified? Anyway, obviously, I’m putting forth energy for an excellent outcome for Ben. Better than before. Tomorrow afternoon/evening we will be pulling up in the driveway. Need to get the ice packs sorted fur easy access and make sure he’s situated. All the while I’m gimping etc. of course I’ll update. I was planning on not being alone for this… I’m so ready to not be alone. I had a hard night along with yesterday. Increased pain from having to do too much this weekend.
