So I've been looking at laptops for 2 days now, which means I'm an expert on all things laptop related. And this is what I've found. Contrary to reputation MacBook air is now the affordable (brand new) laptop option. Which is insane. (I am not using the laptop for gaming really, besides occasional v v old games ). I'm also surprised someone like xiaomi hasn't stepped into the laptop market. They seem to make redminook pros for the Chinese market, and I think an affordable actually good macbookpro or xps alt would be extremely popular. This is my report. Please do not zap me, just send me a free laptop in the post instead. Thank you.

If you look up nostr on twitter, you are seeing a few more people mentioning it. And I'm not including anyone called hodlsomething or Satoshisomething or etc etc. like people outside of bitcointwitter. Not many but some. Which is more than it used to be. It is still predominantly the bitcointwitter bubble tho.

Anyone got laptop recommendations? #asknostr ...or advice? Need something that handles Ableton, Photoshop, some video editing (not much), not fussed about the screen. Need it to last ages and ages. I suppose around £1k 🫪 The ai chat bots seem to suggest MacBook air is the way to go. (?) Xps13? Seems like the base model is kinda pants for the price, no?
