We needed buttons to transform human intention into code that could propagate over the internet. It had to be deterministic because we had no choice really. While AI is nondeterministic, it has reached a level where its outputs can be remarkably consistent. The days of service apps like Uber, DoorDash, Airbnb, etc., are numbered.
