The amount of racism I’ve seen online in the past 48 hours toward Muslims and Islam is scary. It’s like Mamdani woke up a sleeping beast in some people. I don’t agree with his politics, but what I’m seeing online is just ignorant — a mix of stupidity and Dunning-Kruger confidence I didn’t know existed.
