I'm your everyday immigrant blue-collar, and pretty much every stereotype applies. I don't code, I don't have value to add, I don't even have a computer. Take it for what it is and don't have expectations. I'm here to learn.
Good morning, Nostr! π₯β
Today is a great day in France, with the football game tonight, while being the National Day. That's why the celebrations are after the game, close to midnight.
Et Γ nos frΓ¨res et sΕurs franΓ§ais, joyeux quatorze juillet! π₯
Unpopular opinion (I write it light-heartedly, so take it as a joke, more or less)
When I hear "carnivore diet", I immediately think "gay". It's no different than "raw-vegan-dick-licking-but-not-eating". Grown-ass men on a diet, with no medical reasons, _and_ bragging about it. We should make drinking contests great again, survival of the fittest and the bill to the loser. What if your legal age should reflect the number of beers you can have without passing out? Every motherfucker wants to be a Spartan until it's time to sit at a table. GFY and have a drink!
I don't go to Bitcoin conferences, but I have some questions.
What do they tell a newbie who decided to buy Bitcoin? Get yourself KYC'd here or there and buy?! But we hope you know that from that moment you become a target...
Robosats? There are vendors there that will give you headaches because they're registered crypto sellers. In more than one instance, I looked into my bank account, and the payments showed "crypto"; my bank knew about them even if we're in different countries. And giving them your name and bank account is more than enough.
"Buy from me" isn't a solution because I don't know who the fuck "you" are.
While I could keep giving examples, for me, the biggest issue is the inability to buy anonymously. And buying means for a few bucks, someone who wants to buy a whole coin is out of the question right now.
I have almost 2 years of Nostr, and at this point, it should be safe to say that I'm not a "tourist". Funny enough, some so-called freedom fighters are not here anymore. π
