Major 🗝️ alert. When it comes to testing and finding issues you have 2 options. Pay upfront or pay later. Paying later normally comes at a higher cost (there is some interest to be paid 😉) Mocha and Jest are both popular testing frameworks for JavaScript, but they have some differences in their features and usage. Mocha is a flexible testing framework that allows you to use any assertion library you prefer, such as Chai or Should. It provides a simple and easy-to-use API for writing test cases, and it supports both synchronous and asynchronous tests. Mocha also supports a wide range of test runners, making it easy to integrate with other tools in your development workflow. Jest, on the other hand, is a more opinionated testing framework that provides a built-in assertion library, as well as mocking and code coverage capabilities out of the box. It aims to be a zero-configuration testing framework, making it easy to get started with testing your code right away. Jest also includes snapshot testing, which allows you to easily test for changes in the output of your code over time. When it comes to choosing between Mocha and Jest, it ultimately comes down to your individual preferences and requirements. If you need more flexibility in your testing framework and want to choose your own assertion library, Mocha might be a better fit for you. If you're looking for a more streamlined and opinionated testing solution that includes built-in features such as mocking and code coverage, Jest might be a better choice.

An open source mentality is a way of thinking and approaching projects, ideas, and knowledge that emphasizes collaboration, transparency, and community-driven development. This mindset is inspired by the open source software movement, which is based on the principle that source code should be made freely available for anyone to access, modify, and distribute. By adopting an open source mentality, individuals and organizations can promote innovation, learning, and problem-solving in various domains.

"Care and dare" is a phrase that emphasizes the importance of both caring and taking risks. It suggests that we should care about others and the world around us, while also daring to take bold actions and make a positive impact. This phrase encourages us to strike a balance between being responsible and taking calculated risks in order to achieve our goals and make a difference. While it is not specifically attributed to Maya Angelou, she did express similar sentiments in her work, encouraging people to take action and care for one another.
