Morning shaves are a delight with my Edwin Jagger razor.

Is there such a thing as a Satoshi wallet that does not take fees? What's the best wallet to use that is KYC-free, open source, and non-custodial?
When the Executive branch of government enforces long-established laws -- I guess we're supposed to call that authoritarianism.
I hear a lot about this administration's authoritarianism.
What do people mean by that?
And do they remember the literal lockdowns and pharmaceutical mandates we endured during the previous regime?
I am not a Bitcoiner, but if I was, I would not worry about its price right now. Rather than cry about it, I would buy more (it's on sale), because it's guaranteed to rise again, and you will make money in the long run, if that's what you're concerned about.
I understand enthusiasm about Bitcoin.
But we have to live balanced lives. We have to work and earn money and raise our families. We have to worship God, live our lives honorably, do good and be charitable.
We don't want to be one-dimensional nerds.
As much as I hate Facebook, it was pretty cool in the beginning before it was all about memes and short reels.
Remember in 2009 how every post began with "[Username] is... " and you had to complete the sentence? That was the standard prompt. It made people write something about themselves. It was kind of fun, even if a little silly sometimes.
Facebook is evil now. Super evil. Both it and Twitter/X are designed to keep you on their platform through psychological manipulation and depraved content.
I have enjoyed MeWe and even Mastodon.
In my opinion, the Nostr protocol is the best, most promising tech for social media. I just hate seeing so many people turned off by it because we're a bunch of nerds that can't stop talking about sats and zaps. (No offense to anyone personally. I know I can be a crypto/Linux/privacy nerd too.)
Stay humble and be social.
This is a good conversation about Nostr and Faith.

BTC and XMR are good tools, yes.
But don't let that take over your life. It will not make you happy, and you cannot take your secret keys to the grave.
Follow Christ -- the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
Serious thought for those who love using Nostr (I love it too):
We talk about how we own our content, but do we really post much of anything in our daily social media lives that we even care about after a year? Or a week? Even after a few hours?
I suppose it depends on the content format.
Microblogging is often silly or lacks substance. Lots of memes and wisecracks.
An article, on the other hand, or long-form writing, is something you might want to hang onto for a long time.
Vlogs or podcasts or video podcasts -- we might want to hang onto these, too.
I miss the old days when we used internet forums with conversation threads. I used to frequently go back and review past conversations.
But with today's microblogging, our "tweets" and posts and such, if I don't see something right away on my feed, I often don't go back searching for someone's past posts, or at least not that far back.
What has changed? Is it me or are we all posting less interesting things? Our content is more shallow, perhaps?
I don't know, but this I do know: Facebook is the devil. Nostr is a godsend.
