A huge #jatoba (Hymenaea courbaril ) tree fell naturally about a year ago. Maybe because of previous stress during hurricane María. Harvested some slabs to make some cutting boards. In the brooder right now we have some recently hatched ducklings from rescued eggs that were rescued from a couple of nests that the Welsh Harlequin had in the field and we needed relocated. Of a total of 5, these two hatched partially in the incubator.
