GM! 🌞 Today we continue the drying process on our latest micro fermentation of #cacao. Luckily, the first day out of the fermentation box it was a clear and sunny day where we had the chance of removing most of the initial humidity in a controlled way. The following days were mostly cloudy and rainy. We use the polycarbonate cover of the dryer box to prevent rain and take advantage of any sun ray we may get when not tending to it. Nothing beats direct sun rays.

We avoid as much as we can letting #soil exposed to the environment. So until we are ready to plant, the area is kept as is, wild, weedy. No “landscaping” over here. In this picture you can find, #macambo trees, #durian trees, #avocado trees, #cacao trees, #inga trees among other companion crops. All being fertilized with chop and drop methods and the duck “waste” water and #deepbedding #compost.
