GM nostr! The more the algorithms demand stupidly attention grabbing titles on pods, the less I listen. Do people really still react to this enshittification?

Interesting to watch EU sucking up to Azerbaijan. I've seen some serious shit in my life but Azerbaijan is the only place I've been where I literally left a near full beer and walked out of somewhere cause I figured better nobody potentially associate me with the open conversation going on at the table next to me. Some countries have a different level of open kleptocratic corruption!

I'm not techy at all but had a little dive with ai assistance on nostr and telephony and tracking. If meta data is always formed when using the protocol elements that notify a phone to ring, can you not simply by pass these privacy issues by creating a system where an npub can send an ephemeral (6 hours or something) DM to another npub if both are following each other, and the system allows for an "accept voice connection", this bypassing all meta data leakage? Would that not allow an untraceable nostr relay bounced voip link or us the latency too high? #asknostr

The more Costa Rica booms, the higher the level of immorality in contracts and higher the extortion. It's fascinating to watch. Small guilds extort foreigners, prices get driven up, ticos blame gentrification and the foreigners which to a point might be fair but to get any return of capital, all prices have to rise to cover the guild extortion. Mostly lawyers and civil engineers. Crazy societally but the market will keep driving it. Not sure how locals keep up. I do wonder if they look at architects and engineers in all the flashy cars, will they eventually join the dots? Doubt it, easier to blame gringos. Pura vida indeed!

Randomly went to Jeff booths site for curiosity. I already follow his npub but see it listed on connect. Just a curiosity from a non techy person and understand there's a while decentralized multi client element here but is it not possible to have a method that if someone taps, it opens profile? Would that be a case ofaking the link on the webpage and defaulting it to go to a web based like coracle? Or is there a way to link to open in an app on phone?
