After 9 years "sobriety" I have finally defected from the cult of alcoholics anonymous. I'm having a difficult time transitioning back society but things are looking brighter and brighter everyday.
After telling my kids why it's important that they learn to tie their shoes I see my work boots and day shoes and realize I'm just as retarded as the teachers who told me I wouldn't have a calculator on me.
Maybe a better parenting approach would be to ask them what they want to learn next?
