After coming back from my last vacation, I think I'm ready to really pull back on the amount of Bitcoin content I've been consuming after being obsessed with learning all I could over the last 2 years. Lately I'm just interested in keeping up with the current events in shorter videos. I should allow myself to enjoy life again lol.

The more I go to cons the more I come to accept that maybe I'm just not a very social, outgoing dragon. I prefer my tiny group of friends that I'm already comfortable with, I dunno. Been pretty anxious and I never know what to really talk about with people e.=.e

It's not fun seeing the health of someone you really care about deteriorate, and their personality becoming nasty because of it :/

I don't try too hard to orange pill people but a friend asked me what gives Bitcoin value? I may have overdone it with my response, but I gave him my best attempt at describing what money is, the history of money, the problems with money today, how it disincentivizes war, can make homes affordable, not devalue your savings, how energy tethers it to the physical world, humans rights..the whole shebang. Ngl it was quite an essay but I did the best I could at giving him as much context as I could without writing a book or telling him to go read a book. And to be honest I was quite proud of myself with how much info I was able to fit in. Took me two hours to respond. His response, "That's gonna take a bit to process but at first glance that answers nothing" Oh my god LOL
