spam on nostr should only find it's way to you if: 1. it is directly targeted at you (replies,mentions) 2. you follow the target and he interacts with it 3. you actively request to see all posts 2 and 3 can easily be fixed, 1 is where it becomes complicated and difficult without excluding yourself from legitimate content

I get a lot of nip19 decode failures with NostrTools that nak has no problems decoding. anyone familiar with this issue?

my follows list is 210 pubkeys long (very small in contrast to others), after processing all my follows follows I end up with 15k+ pubs to cram into my db. this is the single choke point of alphaama right now and only a problem because indexedDB is shit (my code as well probably...) working to fix this as it makes the browser unresponsive (sometimes crashes). it usually only happens the first time you run a query for your follows kind:3

needed a little break from alphaama today so decided to make a micro-app.

hey everyone that uses Amethyst, you should be aware that the app sends a reaction note (⚠️) when you report another note as spam, the same way as if you reacted with 😀 or 😂 or 🤙 or 🤮. the dev thinks it's the same thing and doesn't want to change this behaviour that only his client does, so when other clients ask for the notes you reacted to, they get the spam notes you were trying to get rid off, effectively spreading them to your audience. client initiating action not sure but I think Amethyst, maybe others as well client receiving or observing action (or lack thereof) any what happen...

it's been a while since I could open my Quicktime player, it automatically crashes after launching. there are 3 videos that open with the app and I can't seem to be able to clear that recent list and make the app open empty. tried some terminal commands without success. Does anyone know of a way to clear the recent list with the app closed? Also deleted the app state folder but that also did nothing.. help
