Technological optimism in current dark age.
Do normal people even use ppc64le? Seems something people with too much cash in their hands would use. Imagine the hassle those people go on their everyday lives to use software that is commonly available for amd64 and even arm64. Huge failure?
So I went for my walk and wanted to listen to a podcast. None of my favorites have published recent stuff. I’ve tunned into some popular Linux podcast. They talk a lot of self hosting. Then I’ve noticed: - they are using boostagrams - they specifically mention sats - host mentions about bitcoin wallets - one viewer thanks them for helping them setup LND. image If they aren’t already how can we get the guys from the Jupiter Broadcasting Linux show hooked on Nostr? They seem to be Mastodon people.
Was looking forward to a pure desktop experience but Gossip not work. No binaries available for Fedora. Compiles fine but doesnt seem to be able to open the sqlite database even if creating it manually from the sql schema files. image
Krakow old city is beautiful but lots of beggars and overly expensive food. Feel safer and more comfortable in Nowa Huta.
You can tweak Stable Diffusion to produce quite decent hands but proper guns are another matter. image
I’m not sure where I am about the whole iOS vs Android debacle. I’m more interested in an unified experience across all my devices regardless of OS and brand. I use everything: iOS, Android, Linux, MacOS. Except Windows of course. Windows is for losers. And if its a PWA I will host it on my own servers, possibly OpenBSD.
Does the freedom fighter brigade bashing iOS knows any nostr client for Linux? No android. No web.
Remember boys, if she says no then its a no. Instead press CTRL+C and restart the program with another seed. (later you can fine tune it)
Why would I buy AC when I could instead put to frozen bottles in front of a fan and use the money to stack more sats? image
If you need any proof how pathetic the EU aspirations to dominate technology then look no further than this. Bloom being literally the worst, most poorly optimized model is the top scoring on their compliance rankings. image Oh and “energy”. I told people that after miners they were going after other uses of “unsanctioned, uncompliant” power usage but none believed me.
The new github UI is ridiculous. It adds all the Microsoft insanity of clogging the horizontal area of the screen. Also if you’d earch something there is no button to go back to the repo.
