Technological optimism in current dark age.
Fulcrum initial sync is extremely slow. If your computer crashes during sync you have to start all over again. Even after you finish it, if you close it incorrectly it while it writes something you are also toast. I found that doing periodic shutdowns and running a backup is the best strategy here. And then repeat from time to time after you get it synced. If anyone is wondering the speed in comparison ti electrs makes it totally worth the pain.
I’m going to make people angry here but a Raspberry Pi 5 8GB with one of the the Poe+ NVME hats is a very capable core+fulcrum+cln node provided you use an NVME through the PCI-E interface.
The spanish inverted question sign is a great idea to announce the phrase is a question. I don’t know why other languages didn’t came up with something similar. Wait a minute… how does our brain registers some long string is a question if we serially read the words? Oh yeah causal words. Human brains and languages are a complex thing.
If your friend forgets their Linux or Unix computer logged in add this to their ~/.bashrc: function ls { touch furrygayporn.mkv command ls "$@" rm furrygayporn.mkv } PS: If inetd or xinetd are installed add a rule mapping a port to "/bin/shutdown -r now" for added fun.
Oh fuck I've sneezed at the general direction of Fulcrum again. Why does it corrupts so easily? Such a waste of time. image
FreeBSD can now run OCI (docker style) containers. Both FreeBSD native and Linux. Note that the Linux containers are running on the Linuxlator compat layer and not under a vm like MacOS and Windows does.

On Alder lake and later CPUs with big.LITTLE, is there a point in pinning the efficient CPU cores to VMs and leaving the big cores for the VM? For a hybrid setup where I have a few vms running on the side 24/7 but also want to sporadically run something bursty on the host computer. Not Proxmox, just pure linux with libvirt.

ARMv9 board with ACPI instead of device trees? There is also a Mini-ITX version with proper PCI-E slot. Just a shame these are not PoE. image
