Over the last two weeks, have been several sudden deaths in my general orbit. Has me feeling very strange. • Neighbor's pet died • Old Dog died • Friend of friend's baby died during birth • Neighbor of friend, family killed in car accident Now I have a family member in the ER. Make it make sense.

I need to get a laptop for my kid. Mostly for learning purposes but also to run Minecraft BEDROCK Edition, Scratch, etc. What is a good / cheap choice that will serve our needs but can also be configured to not constantly spy on us?
