I think Nostr CEO's predictions do stack up nicely, we went over this on
@Soapbox Sessions, we looked at 3 years of 'em and they were not spot on, but close many times.
About Shakespeare by
@Soapbox:
"In 2026, building on Nostr no longer starts with docs, SDKs, or GitHub repos. It starts with a conversation. Shakespeare becomes the norm for creating “Other Stuff” applications by simply describing what you want. You don’t wire up relays. You express yourself. You don’t architect systems. You refine your ideas.
This changes everything.
People who never considered themselves developers suddenly are. Artists build publishing tools. Event organizers spin up coordination apps. Communities create custom workflows in hours, not months. The barrier to entry collapses."
As for #4...
Well... I could go on a tirade since I have <<REDACTED>> years of experience in mainstream media 😂
MSM truly doesn't care. They're lazy. They still write to the press releases they get and it shows. diVine is the case in point there; they could have actually told the story. It's on GitHub. It's on Nostr. They're too lazy to understand or even attempt to learn. And MSM newsrooms are spread so thin, they don't have time even if they want to.
In truth, if Nostr becomes so in-demand that they have to make the attempt, yes, they may cover it. Or, once Nostr becomes easier to use and understand for the end user, yes, then they will cover it.
It's our job to focus on the end user and make it easier so we get there. 🫡
