I’d love to some sort of filtering or label that identifies “longer posts” whatever that is (posts with “show more”?) This way I could toggle between quick posts a la 240 chars Twitter and a reading experience like articles on medium #nostrdesign

Between doing good and extending power, democratic agents will always latter because they believe they can always do good *later*. It is only when good intersects with extending power (ex a popular measure with clear positive outcome) that good gets done.

Tomorrow is election day. How can democracies produce such poor leaders? Goodharts Law. To put the “best” leaders is power, we use elections. So candidates optimise not for quality but to win elections. And so worse leaders arise.

Any state could now feed an open source LLM with the laws of the land and let anyone check them while on the toilet. Imagine the existing inertia in the system because of the psychological burden of not knowing if you are compliant when you take some economical/financial/social risk
