#fearsfaced woohoo! I am enjoying that lovely buzzy afterglow when you've faced down a big fear and "coped". this one: city night driving, with the extra special bonuses of intense rush hour traffic, sliding into full-dark in a new and foreign-to-me city, minimal host country language skills (enough, sorta), new rental car, new-to-me nav app (don't need 'em at home) and a "lane-fluid" driving culture, so you learn quickly to follow their examples. oh and rain (thankfully slacking to drizzle) and unseeable urban street potholes. fasting. woo f' hoo! yes!
