It makes no mention of self-authenticating evidence such as video or audio recordings (evidence where the mere existence of it is enough to take for granted it's legitimacy). Its long been an argument that video evidence leaves this justice system obsolete and insufficient for the modern world. Now we are looking at the end of this. With AI generated video, audio, and any other type of sensor data which would previously be evidence on its own, we are quickly going back to the testimony and reputation framework that Islamic law teaches us how to contend with. In the long arc of history, this form of self-authenticating evidence will be seen as a short, century long blip. A moment of delay between the ability to record, and manufacture certain types of data.

Because this is what we need right now. No one wants to start paying a fixed monthly fee before they have any media to pay to host. Even if it is more expensive with high usage, the pay as you go approach will charge those higher amounts only after the user has a ton of data they are paying to host.
