oof. ...... getting noise fields to perfectly loop is super tricky! you can always convert a 0->1 to a sine wave, but then you've got the problem of what to do about the peak/trough where the rate of change briefly becomes 0.

testing GIF quality compared to mp4 ...... looks like void.cat converts GIF to .webp in any case ..... GIF is really a terrible format, limited to 256 colors and any kinds of gradients massively blow out filesizes. .....
