This whole dice roll thing is complex. Most people recommend Ian colemans tool offline to generate seeds. Spent a lot of the past two days trying to verify it. I ended up showing Claude my workings which was incorrect. Then did a test getting 99 nums from =randbetween using MS Excel and then stuck that in the tool and gave it to Claude to see if both got the same result, and they did not. Claude thinks colemans tool is wrong. Going to try the seedsigner and see if I can verify either Claude or coleman. #selfcustody #iancoleman

If wallets random seed generator code is insecure, then why use a wallets dice roll code? Does not make sense to me.

Agree with a lot of this. Passphrases are very easy to add. Be comfortable with your security. Know your capabilities. There is no single right solution. Earlier this year I purchased a coldcard Q. Generated a seed with pass phrase but became hesitant to transact due to the complexity. Would have been very dependent on online sources and it did not make sense. Tell me if I am wrong. All these big bitcoiners that recommended cold card users not to roll the dice or use a Passphrases never had any bitcoin stolen. Does that make sense because it seems illogical unless they were complicit.
