65. Just a number, they say. And sure, some mornings, I feel every bit of it in my bones. But there are just as many days I wake up with a fire in my chest, certain that “old” is something I may never truly be. I remember a time when reaching this age meant winding down—early mornings traded for quiet ones, responsibilities folded up and packed away. Retirement was a destination. A rest stop. But for me, on this very day I turn 65, it feels more like a new starting line. I’m not settling into a chair—I’m stepping into purpose. What drives me now isn’t a paycheck or a promotion—it’s passion. It’s meaning. It’s the chance to make these next years, however many I’m given, matter more than all the rest put together. Maybe I’ve got 10 years, maybe 30. Or maybe I’ve only got tomorrow. But whatever the number, it won’t be wasted. Yes, my joints remind me I’ve lived. But my spirit? It’s louder than ever. My curiosity is sharp. My ambition still kicks. And the joy of chasing something meaningful hasn’t aged a day. That dash between my birth and the final date? It will not be empty. After some research I found that old #carrot that went to flower is just old carrot. Yes they were #beautiful #flowers, but I thought in my Weather'd mind that they could do the same function as a Daikon radish. I was wrong! But like I said before... "I'm a mad scientist in the #Garden" I plucked them out and made room for sone better companion plantings for the #tomatoes next to them. Damnit I Love #Gardening ❤️❤️❤️

We let media distortions cloud our judgment. We blame “the system,” while ignoring the power we hold. Look at that accusing finger. One points outward—but the other four? They point back at you. You—who can act. You—who can vote. You—who can rise. Reject the media’s lies. Reclaim your voice. The path of this nation depends not on corrupt leaders or deceitful broadcasters—but on us. The time to seize our sovereignty is now.

Today, we pause to honor the lives lost in senseless wars—brave souls, frightened hearts, and those caught in misfortune's grasp. I despise war and the decisions of governments to send our fathers, mothers, sisters, and brothers into conflict, heedless of the anguish and loss their deaths inflict on families. Yet, I am deeply grateful for those who made the ultimate sacrifice in the face of dangers I have never known. Their selfless acts secured the freedoms we cherish today, in all their forms, whether we fully embrace them or not. The madness and thirst for war seem unending, but I hold onto hope for a season of peace, just to know its taste. To the fallen, I honor you. No matter the circumstances of your sacrifice, you are forever heroes.

I did something daring today because when it comes to #composting, I'm a mad scientist! So... My #Bioreactor started as a 3ft dia x 4ft tall burlap/cattle panel structure. I had not enough material on my property to fill it (about 3/4 full). I topped it with a healthy layer of leaves and proceeded to let it do its thing. Fast forward to today (5 months) my pile reduced by 80% and my semi cold pile next to my Bioreactor was screaming at me to "Just Do It!" So.... I did! I pulled the sprinkler. I adjusted the pipes and I filled the Bioreactor along with all the vermiculture and decomposing stuff on top of the reactor! I'll top it off again with a healthy layer of leaves and see what happens in the next 7 months! "It's Alive! It's alive!" as Baron Von Frankenstein would have said (that's Frankensteen!!!) Last weekend ended my Spring sales of my backyard nursery. As I will not recoup the time invested in the endeavor, I did recoup the monetary investment and made enough to reinvest for the Fall season to which I am gearing up for in the next couple of weeks. I sold about 90% of my inventory, the other 10% either went into my garden or were gifted to friends and family. YouTube is your friend here for anybody looking to do something like this. A wealth of information pertaining to legalaties for next season, I will be getting my CDAG certification and fortunately I don't need a business license because of the size of my business. So that's the update and someday I will learn how to put this all together in a content driven matter, but that's not my forte or passion. Hope you all are doing well.
