Me determined not to keep the #zaps I've been given. I'm in my "pay it forward" arc

Gm!
PSA: Friendly reminder to repost content you like. Nostr doesn't have an algorithm to recommend content to new users. Reposts are the primary mechanism of content discovery.
Has anyone explored using Nostr IDs in place of PGP, e.g. for signing arbitrary things: software binaries, git commits, etc?
Brainstorming an idea here...
Context:
Zapping is huge for both retention and driving engagement in Nostr. Receiving a zap triggers a dopamine release that rewards you for creating engaging content. Zaps therefore are good for the network, as it incentives quality content and positive community interaction.
Opportunity:
Today the dopamine release only happens when you receive a zap (mostly). If users received a similar dopamine release when they send a zap, it would increase the volume/velocity of zaps, and have a multiplicative benefit to the network.
Idea:
Can clients or apps create a reward for zap senders? Perhaps gamifying it? Maybe show a rank/score on their profile (slmething more prominent than the zaps tab)? Or have zap lotteries that reward users based on zaps (need to think about preventing manipulation e.g. self-zaps here)? This could be done as a feature in the clients, or as bots, or via some new "gamifying nostr" app.
I'm curious if anyone's thought about this already, or interested in exploring it further.
