The only answer to why the left and the right would not support full disclosure is it would destroy both sides equally and thoroughly. Most likely in multiple countries not just the USA

Human, sexually, color, race. etc. Being what you want to be is less than just being. Just be, and let be.
National Socialism or Communism
Two extreme ends of the same problem
Forsaking the good of the individual for the good of the cause/great vision/common purpose/good of the many is the most evil possible, full stop.
Anything actually good includes everyone, *including opposing paths *to success**.
A beautiful song is composed of not vast instances of a single note blindingly droning to an end but harmonizing cords meandering through tragedy, loss, grief, love, death, despair, rebirth and jubilation while holding *all* elements together as a whole.
Any successful society or “social agenda” needs to do the same, full stop.
If you are calling for the censorship of free speach you are not the "good guy".
Censorship, suppressing ideas (self/peer pressured or otherwise), is not good in any way; we need all the ideas out in the open, good bad or ugly.
Only after all the ideas are out in the light can they be validated and sorted out so then action can be taken. Otherwise all ideas need to be pursued at once, with voluntary only backing, allowing all truly successful ideas to emerge and thrive.
IMHO:
We need less groups/people with, "I have the best solution for everyone" narratives.
And more groups willing to have, "fucked around and found out" on their own to *show* us what really works.
Create a society that embraces failure as the path to success rather than a society that is afraid of failure. The latter will never be able to find success except by infrequent accident.

New constitutional amendment proposal.
This and repealing the16th would go a long way towards returning to a responsible government

This was inevitable. Spending at the expense of others must go on.

Elon is the market leader. If the EV market suddenly can’t take advantage of subsidies he wins the EV market as the established player.
If you are an Elon hater or lover remember he is a creation of public subsidies nothing changes that.

Law enforcement officers (really any «public» servant) should be publicly tracked in real time for their own protection. Allowing them to surprise the public unannounced puts both the public and the officers at grave risk of being tragically killed.

The first fallacy of Democracy is to believe it is required to abide by the will of a majority
The second fallacy that the whole body must fund what was agreed upon
The most democratic system would be if like minded individuals banned together and solely funded their own agenda
Zen is nothing more than boredom with purpose
Conservatives are attempting to conserve the exact same thing progressives are trying so progress, their power over you. Because you believe they are on your side.
Good and Evil are the same thing.
