I seem to always run in to the strangest problems with YouTube, which few others seem to be having. This time, when I try to search, nothing happens when I press enter or click the magnifying glass icon. If I search the web for a channel and click it, nothing happens when I click "videos".
If this was Youtube's anti-firefox or anti-adblock campaigns that I've heard of, I would at least expect others to have written about the same problem, but searching the web - nothing. Disabling the adblocker makes no difference btw.
Alternative sites work for some creators - for example Louis Rossmann is on Odysee too - but the vast majority of comments are on YT.
It would be great if the video hub of the world could be on Nostr instead of in Google's claws - if one client stopped working, just try another one!

Ask me questions about electronics on the circuit level. I don't know about Raspberry Pi:s, programming modern microcontrollers etc, but I do know about resistors, capacitors, inductors, voltage regulators, op-amps, digital logic, and so on and so forth. I can probably help you repair something or build something. I also know a thing or two about mechanics. If my service is free or paid is up to you! Nostr and Lightning is new to me, I'm trying to learn, so please excuse any errors on my part regarding it. I live in Sweden.
Is something strange going on?
A few days ago, same day or the day after @Nunya Bidness talked about the paper regarding the Lone Star tick that can cause meat allergy, Swedish public service (AKA government (AKA theft) funded) radio had a segment mentioning that tick-caused meat allergy has increased in Sweden (no surprise mentioning the warmer weather due to global warming as a factor).
I had never heard that the ticks we have in Sweden could cause meat allergy.
Is this some kind of campaign, for example to prepare people for mass outbreaks of meat allergy, or as a coming "explanation" of a side effect of a certain medical product that was pushed heavily a few years ago?
Is this something that anyone in any other country has read/seen/heard on mainstream media recently?
Also asking @npub1pjxm...drrv given the nature of his research. (Hope I got the right person, I haven't interacted with him on Nostr before.)
