COVID was Peak Fiat. You don’t have to trust Trump or Elon to see they’re fighting back against woke craziness. It’s obvious in both foreign and domestic policy, with the contrast against Europe making it even clearer. I expect JD Vance to win the presidency after Trump and continue in this direction. But in the grand scheme, I don’t think that makes a difference in what’s coming next. In four years, Bitcoin will be the size of gold. The Nation-States desperately trying to keep the fiat Ponzi alive will be the ones in clear decline. Worried about free speech? Give NOSTR another four years to grow from infancy. The foundations are already being built. The fiat world will keep getting crazier—clinging harder and harder to relevance. But it will never again have the power over the world that it had in 2020. I don’t think the Hard Times are over. But the Strong Men have been forged. And the good times? They’re coming.
