My dad made wine as a hobby and had a vineyard. I didn't know anything and thought he would teach me how to do it. He kinda did but it wasn't until I invested my life savings that I realized he had no idea what he was doing and I had to figure it out myself. I just said yes to an opportunity presented to me and went out and made it happen. I wasn't on Twitter, didn't know about Bitcoin and specifically DIDNT want to sell online. Now those things are my entire business. When I learned about bitcoin, I found out that there were other bitcoiners on Twitter, so I got on, started talking and they asked to buy my wine with Bitcoin. That kinda just steamrolled organically and that's where I am today. I've never paid for advertising and I don't try to sell to normies. The size of my business is capped by this, but I'm happy with what I have and what I do and that was my goal for starting a business in the first place. Whatever you want to do, just start doing. You can't plan for where you'll eventually end up, you just have to start.

Some alcohol is legally required to print an ingredient list. Wine isn't one of them. Anything beverage under 7% alcohol is regulated by the FDA, who requires an ingredients list. Hit 7% or higher and it answers to the TTB instead, who doesn't require an ingredients list. Beer has an explicit loophole. If a drink is made from fermented malted barley and hops it is regulated by the TTB no matter how low the alcohol runs. The 7% threshold and beer carveout are completely arbitrary, written into the 1935 Federal Alcohol Administration Act.

The alcohol lobby is so dedicated to keeping ingredient lists off of labels that there's not even a requirement to list allergy information. There's a proposal on the table to do so, but if it passes, it would still take 5 years to go into effect. Wine isn't the worst offender though, since it would mostly just mean milk and eggs, used to fine the wine. Fish products aren't used much anymore. I hate to admit it because its kinda ghey, but Peony Lane is vegan. image

Everything made sense back when I knew to never trust a Sunday Night Pump or a Fart. But now that CME Gaps no longer exist, I'm thinking about trusting this fart.
