The Trump tariff should have been way more targeted for specific companies and specific industries that the US strategically wanted domestic manufacturing alternative options on, rather than a blanket percentage across the board. It's not going to end well. We run the risk of loosing global reserve status. Which will happen regardless, but this will accelerate. It's going to be very difficult to entice a current day knowledge worker that works on a computer from their own home to then go and work in a factory. Most will just go on unemployment before they do that. Maybe using AI and robotics is the plan to expand re-industrialization and manufacturing, but it seems like that's about 5-10 years away from generalization and mass production of robotics on that scale. The fact that they used the OBBB to prevent States from banning AI from their territories means that the AI layoffs for knowledge work will hit US middle-class even harder. #bitcoin #MAGA #AI
Re-introducing @SeedPass! I have been working more on my CLI password manager that uses #bitcoin #BIP85 to derive a (theoretically) unlimited number of deterministic random #passwords, #2FA (TOTP), #SSH keys, #PGP keys, #BIP39 Seeds and #Nostr key pairs and uses Nostr as a storage and sync layer for the data index. I have some easy installation scripts on the GitHub readme that work across Windows 10/11 and Debian Linux (other Linux and Mac will also probably work, just haven't tested yet). #SeedPass is the 1 seed to rule them all... so don't lose it or compromise it. lol This software has not been evaluated by a security professional and I provide it as is with no guarantee of security. Use at your own risk. But I do think it's pretty cool and hopefully if enough people look at the code it might some day be trusted. image
