Buying up houses to renting them out to others for a profit is actively harmful to society. The need to generate "cashflow" on your asset is a symptom of a fiat mentality. Try owning an asset that grows in value faster than the money supply. Then rent-seeking is no longer necessary. Shelter shouldn’t be a yield instrument engineered by monetary policy. Fix the money, build more homes, and stop forcing everyone to be a landlord just to stand still. Bitcoin > cashflow.

Dang. I logged into Twitter for the first time in like 6 months just to complain about #bitpay to their stupid face on an alt account. I took one quick look down my feed and thought "why do people still use this X crap when #nostr exists?"

Using #bitpay is the worst experience I've ever had trying to pay for movie tickets online. The payment failed and a refund was given with no explanation and you need to install their app and upload your drivers license to collect the refund. This is absolutely insane! #bitcoin
