Working on my animation all weekend —doing clean up on the loop in my animated short for the Bitcoin Film Festival happening in Warsaw, Poland end of May. Also figuring out the details of the face and especially the EYES, for the African Bitcoin Queen… how do purple eyes strike you? As if scientists don’t have enough to do with their scientific research, here is an article from a medical journal on “Animated Eyes”. Yes, some Spanish scientists spent time to figure out how the size and shape of the eyes of animated characters would impact real life abilities to see stuff cuz: “ Eyes play a major role in … expressions, which consequently led artists to design their characters’ eyes as very large and distinctive, but often in ways that are not physiologically accurate and may come at the expense of visual function. We, therefore, hypothesise that the visual function of the majority of cartoon characters is profoundly impaired.”

Spent all weekend animating and am making good progress. Happy with this first cut which I will submit to Tomek, at the Bitcoin Film Festival, for a technical quality check on the file format later today before flushing it out fully… BTW —Found this 4 min animation short — Japanese from the 1917. Pretty sure it is about SATOSHI and bitcoins as there is a delightful animation sequences of flying, dancing bitcoins in virtual space at about 1:20 sec. #Bitcoin #Animation #Japanese @Bitcoin FilmFest
