Everyone seems to have picked their candidate (or team, as I’d like to say) and a debate is highly unlikely to change anyone’s mind. Everything the other candidate does is terrible. There’s no meeting in the middle. Folks, don’t stress this out. Most things don’t require a deep dive. I don’t even think you need to read or listen to an entire book to understand the subject. There are a bunch of ways to get the basic concept of anything. A short YouTube video, ChatGPT summary of a book/article/study, a podcast, etc. A few short paragraphs, sometimes even just one paragraph is usually all you need to understand the basics. Want to be an expert in a field? Sure, dive in. But most people definitely get the most value by just digesting a few short summaries of the topic and actually use the extra time to put those ideas into practice. A great example is the book “Influence” by Robert Cialdini. I read and listened to the book and then heard a clip of a podcast he was on where he explained the 7 principles in 7 minutes or less. Yes, the book has lots of examples but all you really need are the 7 principles and a brief explanation. Another 80/20 rule in practice. #valueyourtime #plebchain #nostriches #protip

Hi. I don’t post behind a pseudonym because I believe in complete freedom and don’t have the need to hide. I believe in freedom. Freedom of speech. Freedom to choose what I do with my time. Freedom to do what I want with my money. Freedom to have my opinion. Freedom period. I say what I feel I need to say and I don’t worry about it. That’s privilege for sure. I live in a country where I can do that. So I’ll say what I want to honor those that fought for my right to do so. Seeing a lot of countries ban people’s right to speak is disgusting. The UK, Brazil, etc. it’s a shame the government feels a need to outlaw or jail someone for their words. Saying #nostr is awesome on nostr itself is kind of pointless as most people here get it. Honestly it’s hard to explain to others, my current pitch is: “It’s like twitter but no one can ban you or censor what you say… oh and your content goes with you if you decide to use another nostr app/client.” People will get it eventually by network effect or forced to join because they themselves were a victim or censorship. help spread the word and #grownostr

How idiotic is this point of view? I have no clue what the Kennedy family relationship is like, but effectively choosing a political party over your brother is short-sighted and just sad. Even if you disagree with them. Also, kind of hilarious to feel the need to share a ‘personal statement’ about it. Today was a challenging day. Not a bad day, a great day actually. A good combination of physical work, lots of driving around, crazy weather, weird social interactions, important decision making, technical difficulties, a few last minute rushes, etc. Not every day is like this but I’m grateful to have everything work out, be busy, and able to get things done.
