Sangha (Buddhist) The Buddha said noble friendship is the whole of the holy life. We do not awaken as soloists. Sangha is the people who remind us to return. Gratitude for sangha is thanks for the ones who sit with us, who tell us the truth, who keep the forms when we are tired. Even a small group, even one friend who practices, is a field of merit. We belong to each other on the path. "Admirable friendship, admirable companionship, admirable camaraderie is actually the whole of the holy life." — Samyutta Nikaya 45.2

Builders, creators, cooks, thinkers, tinkerers and interesting people doing interesting things. That’s who I want to talk to. Day 254 🌿 ✨ "The quiet between two people can be a kind of wealth." — Anonymous 💫 "I can bless this hour without needing the next one to be perfect." 🙏 Grateful for the servant leaders. The ones in community who selflessly risk their own lives for others. Today I honor those who stepped up to better our society. The police, firefighters, community members and those who we remember on 9/11.
