Just crossed 200 followers, at least according to the relays I subscribe to. I’ve been on Nostr for 2 months. It took me 4 years to get that many followers on the bird app, and that was only after I started shilling NFTs 😂 Nostr is wild

If you hear a no-coiner talking about bitcoin mining and its energy use and carbon footprint, send them this article. It’s neutral and cuts through a lot of the bullshit. It’s also not from any bitcoin publication, so it wouldn’t be instantly dismissed as biased. Honestly pretty impressed with HBR for this coverage, even though (or especially because?) it’s a few years old.

Ordinals? Look, I don’t own any, but as a guy with a hefty bag of NFTs on ETH, I can say I get the appeal. BRC-20 though? Come on. I mean I know this is the pot calling the kettle black here but random tokens are the epitome of degeneracy. You don’t need shit like that on any L1; it’s just a meme coin and everybody knows it. But the protocol allows it and there’s nothing that can be done about it so, I guess… image

My kid just realized the power of the word “no,” thus beginning the Terrible Twos epoch. Thank god for this song about fire trucks, otherwise we would have absolutely no way of getting him to do anything. Catchy, too.

Just had my first pull request accepted on github 🎉 It was a 3-word change to some documentation but you gotta start somewhere. Just goes to show you, even if you can't contribute code, there are still plenty of ways for you to help the advancement of the bitcoin ecosystem, no matter how small.
