I just listened to The Lie That Built Modern Medicine" by nostr:nprofile1qqs043gn588da502h36q0sffjay9m69mk28dmm805qtgzl7g6n6q0fgpp4mhxue69uhkyunz9e5k7tcpzemhxue69uhk2er9dchxummnw3ezumrpdejz7qgwwaehxw309ahx7uewd3hkctc80655m and I really was intrigued.
I was only gonna listen to about 5-10 minutes cause it's late, but I listened to all of it.
It basically goes into "Germ Theory" and "Terian Theory" Germ Theory being the vastly more popular beliefs that illnesses begin from outside germs that enter the body, and that chronic illnesses are related to genetics.
Germ theory thrives on the belief that in order to be healthy, we must put our wellbeing in the hands of "Professionals" and constantly getting vaccines and expensive medicine and procedures to stay healthy.
But this begs the question, why do some people catch illnesses and others are completely fine even when exposed around others with it.
Could the key to our health really be as simple as taking personal accountability for our own actions and bodies?
This is really interesting to me and something very very few even consider.
Also side note:
When I was younger and my grandma was still alive, she would say and others would agree that she would never catch anything, never really had a cold, flu, nothing.
Despite others around her and in her own house getting ill, she seemed to be immune.
Untill she was already in the hospital later on for a physical injury, they say she has COVID 19.
I really recommend checking out the whole episode here:
