@DETERMINISTIC OPTIMISM ๐ @Coinkite I found a way to do substraction without variables on calculator mode (Coldcard Q). Put space before (and after?) the minus sign. Then it isn't interpreted as a login attenpt.
I wonder: If you share the result of a subtraction, how easy or difficult would it be for someone to guess your PIN?

Of course, Edte firmwares are only for testing, but I just wanted to inform you.
@Coinkite @DETERMINISTIC OPTIMISM ๐ Coldcard Q confuses BIP-38 encrypted Private Keys with payment addresses (the ones starting with 6P...)
@Coinkite @DETERMINISTIC OPTIMISM ๐ My Q has already started to not recognizing the QR code scanner sometimes. It says "Scanner missing" when trying to scan a QR code, the red light not visible. I have to power it off and on again when that happens.
Important: If you want to do substraction on #Coldcard Q in calculator mode, use at least one variable. Otherwise, you may get your device one step closer to bricking because subtractiom terms are interpreted as PIN entry.
@Coinkite @DETERMINISTIC OPTIMISM ๐
@DETERMINISTIC OPTIMISM ๐ Is calculator mode based on Python?

@DETERMINISTIC OPTIMISM ๐ Calculator mode has an interesting property: You can store commands in QR codes, then you can scan them and execute them. Can you make more out of this in future updates? Also, please don't forget commands for doing ECC calculations.
@DETERMINISTIC OPTIMISM ๐ I have my Q now. There are a few things: The keyboard sadly isn't that good. The feedback on pressing a key is bad and sometimes it doesn't recognize a pressed key. Also, Nunchuk is quite useless. QR code reading doesn't work when it comes to scanning a signature from Coldcard. It says 100%, but then nothing happens. Please create your own app or maybe try asking the Nunchuk devs to fix that.
@Minibits Backup from seed doesn't work at all. I reinstalles Minibits as an error message told me, backing up my seed before. But when I tried recovery, nothing could be found on any of the mints, which means, my few sats I had there (less than 50) are now lost.
