I think I figured out the real reason for Twitter's new X branding:
Any time I accidentally click a Twitter link, I immediately rush to tap the 'x' in the top left to get out. Now, I find myself clicking the wrong 'x' and getting unwillingly transported to the Twitter home page. Its a trap!

Hey #bisq users. When you trade with Zelle, do you put your real cell phone number? That seems like a huge security risk to me... my cell phone will pop up in countless public record searches, so I don't want to share that information as I buy Bitcoin.
Do you use a burner number? How, if its linked to your bank?

#plebchain don't forget to support the FOSS developers behind #simplex. There's few better uses for #bitcoin than to sponsor devs building #freedom tools, so that they don't have to sell out to VCs.

IMO the coolest game changing technical detail about #nostr, is the fact that an account is JUST a public/private key pair. Its so simple its brilliant. One key, one identity, no matter which relays you talk to.
I feel like other protocols might scale better, though. ActivityPub, for example, is much more bandwidth efficient, which becomes critical as a network reaches the masses. I wonder if there is a future where Nostr takes on some of the properties of ActivityPub to help it scale to the masses, while not tying users down to any single server.
The future is bright. What a great time to be alive and online.
