#ErgoHack IX focuses on UI/UX innovations for the Ergo ecosystem. Here’s a look at the participating projects:
1️⃣ Community Liquidity Bootstrap (CLB)
CLB is a nonprofit initiative focused on solving a critical issue within the Ergo ecosystem: liquidity. With no venture capital or premine, Ergo relies on community participation for liquidity, creating a unique challenge for average token holders. CLB bridges this gap by offering low-risk, accessible returns for the community, helping to increase engagement, attention, and participation across the ecosystem.
2️⃣ Stable Benefaction Platform
This decentralized application allows projects to seek funding in ERG in exchange for participation tokens, providing a transparent mechanism for community-driven financial support within the Ergo ecosystem.
3️⃣ Last Byte Bar
Last Byte Bar is an innovative system that automatically generates and emits NFTs and tokens upon block discovery, using smart contracts to verify block finders, create unique identifiers, and mint digital assets from block data. Each NFT is algorithmically generated as blockchain-native artwork, while fungible tokens are minted with attributes influenced by block data. With every mined block, assets are distributed to miners, providing a flexible reward structure that enhances engagement and introduces new tokenomics possibilities within the Ergo ecosystem.
4️⃣ OnErgo
OnErgo is a comprehensive engagement platform that combines event tracking with gamified learning. Featuring a community-driven event calendar, OnErgo consolidates all activities across Ergo, from hackathons to CyberVerse game events, with rewards for user submissions. The platform will introduce quests like Rosen bridge transactions or NFT acquisitions, offering badges, tokens, and leaderboard recognition to drive participation. Wallet authentication and smart contracts will verify user actions and distribute rewards, making OnErgo a hub for both engagement and education within Ergo.
5️⃣ Satergo Offline Vault
Satergo Offline Vault is an Android app that acts as a secure hardware wallet key, installed on an offline device to protect Ergo users’ seed phrases. It connects via Bluetooth to the Satergo desktop wallet, allowing users to enter their password and sign transactions safely on their mobile device, keeping sensitive data isolated from malware. The app is transferred manually, bypassing app stores, and lets users repurpose old phones for secure, cost-effective storage.
6️⃣ Minotaur Wallet
Minotaur focuses on enhancing multi-sig wallet transactions by improving communication and reliability among wallet signers. Through streamlined processes, Minotaur makes multi-sig signing faster and less error-prone.
7️⃣ OneStopShop
This onboarding guide simplifies Ergo's ecosystem for newcomers by providing essential resources, covering everything from basic concepts to getting started with wallets, DApps, and transactions, ensuring a smooth user journey.
8️⃣ Cup of Sugar
Cup of Sugar is a decentralized project supporting peer-to-peer transactions in local economies, promoting sustainable, locally sourced goods through its COS token. Originally designed as a marketplace for small businesses, it empowers communities with blockchain-driven trade. For ErgoHack, Cup of Sugar is building a tool to visualize and track COS token activity, offering insights into transaction flows within local exchange networks.
9️⃣ 3D Explorer
3D Explorer is a visual tool that brings Ergo’s blockchain data to life, showing blocks, transactions, inputs, and outputs in a dynamic 3D environment. Each block mined updates the visualization, allowing users to zoom into specific transactions or historical blocks. This project primarily aims to educate users about the UTXO model and blockchain structure in an engaging, exploratory format, enhancing understanding of complex blockchain data.
