Exit, Not Revolution
[Verse 1]
We don’t need another burning street,
We don’t need another war to repeat.
Let the empires crumble on their own,
We’ll be planting seeds where the new winds have blown.
[Pre-Chorus]
Take your voice, take your hands, take your time
Build a world where leaving feels like a right.
[Chorus]
Exit, not revolution,
We’re building quiet solutions.
No need for blood, no crown to fall,
We’re walking out, we’re building all.
The door is open, come step through
A brighter place that waits for you.
[Verse 2]
Protocols humming, trust in code,
Cabins rising down the winding road.
Not a fight, just a better design,
Not a cage, but a choice that’s mine.
[Bridge] (soft, reflective)
No king to slay, no throne to break,
Just the courage to walk away.
Every exit builds a new sunrise,
Every leaving gives a new world life.
[Chorus]
Exit, not revolution,
We’re building quiet solutions.
No need for rage, no walls to climb,
We’ll outgrow the old with patient time.
The map is changing, line by line
A gentle shift, a grand design.
[Outro]
So let them rule the world they keep,
We’ll make our own where the dream runs deep.
Exit, not revolution
Our peaceful evolution.
Farm flying over Venus clouds
50 Miles above the surface of Venus, the atmosphere is buoyant enough that an airship using normal Earth atmosphere could float above the cloud cover. Such airships would be used to colonise the planet and grow the colonists food. The Patchwork uses whatever it can scavenge as it builds its breakaway civilisation away from totalitarian Earth.
